Rules/Guidelines for Assassins

  1. Basics of the game
    1. Kill your target
    2. Take their target, as it is now your new target
    3. Continue until you are killed or are one of the final two
  2. Safe-zones:
    1. classrooms/ academic spaces (ex: library)
    2. rehearsal spaces*
    3. bathrooms (because, really give someone a little privacy...that said do not abuse this)
    4. the design studio in Lowe
    5. academic-related meeting spaces (ex: study group, group project work)*
      1. *it is not illegal to set up a mock meeting or rehearsal to lure in your victims. You cannot not however bust into a real meeting or rehearsal and kill your target.
  3. What constitutes a kill?
    1. A shot to the front or side of torso
  4. What does not constitute a kill?
    1. An active player or Spectrum E-Board member witnesses you killing your target
    2. Your target shoots at you in defense, allowing for a 15 minute grace period
    3. A shot to the face, leg, arm, back, or head (basically anywhere that is not the front or side of torso)
    4. A shot fired in a safe-zone
    5. A kill obtained using excessive force, i.e. forcing your way into someone's room/space (you have to be invited in)
  5. Anyone reported to be using excessive force or repeatedly disregarding the rules (i.e. killing in a safe-zone) to kill will be disqualified. This is a game dealing with paranoia, not pain.
  6. Be sure to have the name of your target on you at all times, so if you are killed you can pass on the name of your target/victim to your killer.
  7. If you are killed you must contact the coordinator to let him/her know you have been killed and who killed you.
  8. You may not use super-soakers or tricked-out water guns.
